Ryan Schlee 3 v 3 Soccer Tournament

Ryan Schlee was a former Grand Blanc High School soccer player who was killed in an automobile accident a few months after his 1994 graduation.  Ryan was an outstanding soccer player who gave of himself to his team and to the Grand Blanc community.  

The Grand Blanc Community Schools Soccer Parents, Inc has sponsored a 3v3 SOCCER TOURNAMENT in Ryan’s honor since the summer of 1994.  The goal of this tournament is to raise money for student scholarships in addition to defraying the cost of soccer team activities throughout the regular season.  Our goal is to be one of the finest soccer facilities with continued support for improvements.    

Ryan Schlee Scholarship

This award is presented to a graduating male and/or female student who has:

  • Demonstrated a concerted effort to maintain the highest grade point possible based on his/her ability.
  • Volunteered their time towards community or charitable activities, and also have shown a supportive attitude toward fellow students.
  • Participated in at least one year of Varsity Soccer at Grand Blanc High School.

These attributes best describe what kind of person, student, athlete and son that Ryan was.  In Ryan’s memory scholarships have been awarded to these previous recipients:
